To celebrate its 45th anniversary, ZooParc de Beauval is opening a new chapter in its history. In 2025, it became the first zoo in the world outside Asia to welcome the extraordinary golden snub-nosed monkeys, also known as Roxellane’s rhinopithecus. A national treasure of China, these unique small primates, with their vibrant golden fur and distinctive blue faces, have been entrusted to ZooParc de Beauval by China as part of a conservation and research programme dedicated to the species.
